Les Séries — Collection 07
Les Portes
Doors — New York City
"Street photography is, at its core, about solitude. Not the absence of people — quite the opposite. It is about the solitude that exists when inside a crowd. The private moment that survives the noise of a city. I walk for three or four hours at a time. I don't look for anything specific. I wait for the light to do something unexpected, for someone to step into a frame they don't know exists. Each click is a decision I have already made a hundred times in my head before I lift the camera ."
